SALT starts on Tuesday, January 2.  Check-in begins at 4 pm and dinner starts at 6 pm.  The evening service starts at 7:30 pm.  Bring your $79 when you check in (unless you've already paid). 

 

SALT ends on Friday, January 5 at about 12 pm. 

 

Bring an extra $15 if you want to go whale-watching Wednesday afternoon.  We're getting a boat tour, and there are supposed to be tons of migrating whales. 

 

Location:

SeaKrest Lodge, Newport, OR.  You can google it, but it's easy to get to:

From Corvallis, take Highway 20 to Newport.  Turn right on Highway 101.  Take 101 until just before the light to go to the lighthouse.  (You'll pass WalMart and all that).  Just before the lighthouse light is a street to turn left on.  Google Maps calls is Gilbert Way.  The street sign there says something like 46th St.  It's the last place you can turn left before the light.  Once you've turned, veer toward the left, and you'll see a sign immediately for SeaKrest Lodge.  Drive on up!

 

Everyone is responsible for their own ride down, but if you don't have a ride, let me know because several people have mentioned having extra room in their cars and I can connect you. 

 

Don't forget to pack a sleeping bag or bedding for a twin bed, a towel, any toiletries you need, a flashlight (it gets dark there) and warm clothes!
